The 25 Books Every Kid Should Have on Their Bookshelf

I have 5 of the 25: Where the Wild Things Are, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The House at Pooh Corner, Madeline, and Charlotte’s Web. Not too bad. Better than, say, none. I’m intrigued by I Capture the Castle and The Story of Ferdinand. What are some of your favorite books from your childhood?
