Not much has changed since last week’s post. I am still laughing my way through Let’s Pretend This Never Happened by Jenny Lawson. I thought I would share one of my favorite quotes of the week from this book.

Lets Pretend this Never Happened

The set-up: Jenny has been talked into going to a women bloggers retreat in California, and is having serious second thoughts because she thinks most women are “judgy, cruel, fickle, and likely to borrow your Cabbage Patch doll and never give it back.” Her friend Laura reminds her that one of her goals for the year is to make friends with more women.

“She was right, but at the same time she reminded me why girls make both great and terrible friends: They actually listen to your goals, even when you’re too drunk to know what you’re saying.”

Have fun with your friends—girl, boy, cat, or dog—this weekend, everyone.

Oh, and what are you reading?
